Radon Introduction
The provisions to be undertaken to protect against radon are outlined in Building Regulations, Approved Document C.
These measures include:
Radon membranes certification.
Identifying and marking pipe terminals from radon sumps.
Recommendations for supply and installation of radon membranes.
Additional requirements for performance of low-density polythene (LDPE) radon membranes.
Protecting radon membranes during construction.
Concentration test for radon post construction.
These items will be discussed in greater detail throughout this appendix.
