Locations for notching and drilling
Locations for notching and drilling in timber frame construction are very limited and restricted. In special circumstances other areas may be drilled and notched but this must be determined at the design stage and must be completed by the timber frame manufacturer or by trained installer under the instruction/approval of the timber frame manufacturer.
